Disney Land
We had known 5 weeks before we went to Disney Land. Oh my, the excitement everyone had. Now let's get to the Disney part.
Day 1. Of course, we got to the airport, and we all made it through security. A few hours later it was time to get on the plane. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But then we got a delay. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! We didn't have any stewards. One hour later they got here, so finally, we boarded the plane. When we landed at the airport there were hardly any people there. So we got to get out of the airport pretty quickly. An uber came and picked us up, and they drove us to our hotel. We dropped our stuff off and settled in. After like 30 minutes we headed to get pizza!!! It was the best gluten-free pizza my mom and I had ever had. After pizza, we went to downtown Disney. It's where all the shops are. Jensen chose to get a claw machine filled with tiny aliens from Toy Story and a Monsters University hat. Later for a special treat, we finished off the day with some good old ice cream from Sweet and Salty.
Day 2. It was Sunday morning, and we got up at 5:45 am and ate breakfast. Then we headed to Disney security. After security, you wait at the Disney gates. Next, you wait at a long rope. This is called rope drop. As soon as the rope goes down and they say go you walk as fast as you can to a ride. The first ride we rode was Indiana Jones. You're in a car driving around. After that, we went to the Pirates of the Caribbean. We got a little wet. Then we went on a really funny and weird ride called The Haunted Mansion. At the end of the ride, there's a mirror. You are supposed to see yourself as a ghost but apparently, it wasn't working. Then we went on Astro Blasters, based on Toy Story 2 when Buzz defeats Zerg. On the ride, we had gun blasters to shoot the targets with. It was enjoyable. After that, my dad and I went on the Matterhorn while Jensen and mom went on Star Tours. The Matterhorn is where you are in a little kart and you're trying to get away from the yeti. After we ate lunch at Galactic Grill; we got hamburgers and fries. Later that day we rode Winnie the Pooh and ate at the Rose Tavern. And to end the day we rode the Teacups.
Day 3: This time we went to California Adventure. I was so excited. We rope dropped Radiator Springs Racers. The ride is based on the movie Cars, and you are in a car racing. Definitely one of my favorite rides. After that, we went to Soarin. What happens is you are in a chair buckled in and you feel like you are flying through all the famous places. But instead, we got to just stay on the floor because it wasn't working, so they gave us a lightning pass for almost any ride. We still joke around and call it sittin. Get it? Instead of Soarin, it's sittin. After that, my mom and I went on The Incredicoaster. I had already ridden it once but wanted to go on it again. It was my first upside-down roller coaster. Don't worry you have something over your head that goes down to your legs. It was my favorite ride there. I felt so awesome on that ride. She said she doesn't really remember it because her eyes were closed for most of it. Jensen got a Jack-Jack Num Num Cookie. It was huge!!! I got Adorable Snowcone based on the yeti from Mosters Inc. It was lemon-flavored ice cream with white chocolate on top. So good. Then we headed back to our hotel.
Day 4: We went to what was supposed to be an awesome beach like this photo. Literally, that is what it is supposed to look like. But when we went there were a lot of shops and restaurants for adults and babies.
We went to a museum and asked a lady who worked there what to do. And she said to take the ferry[ a type of boat] back off of Balboa Island. Which is what we had just got off of. So then we checked out some of the restaurants. As most of you'll know me and my mom are gluten-free. The main part of sandwiches we can't eat is the bread, but most places have gluten-free bread. Anyways we went to a restaurant and the guy said:" We have gluten-free bread but I don't know if the sandwich is." Like what????? So we left, and eventually, we left the island. After that, we went to an actual beach with sand. It was called Crystal Cove. Here's a picture of it. So pretty. My mom didn't pack us swimsuits because she thought it would be cold since it's the Pacific Ocean. But no, Igot soaked so did my brother. After that we were thirsty so we went to this juice place that said it was open, but nope, closed. After that, we went back to the hotel and then went to a hibachi place called Benihana. We expected to see them do it right in front of us, but the wait was 2 hours, so we just ate in the bar area. When we had finished eating we went back to the hotel and ended the night by watching the Olympics! We made it home safely. Here are some pics of the trip.
