Chimpanzees are amazing animals. Today on my blog we will be learning all about them. Diet: Chimpanzees mostly eat what we eat such as fruit, nuts, and plants. Although they eat nuts differently then we do. Chimpanzees get a rock and smash it on the nut to open the nut then eats it. Unlike us, we just eat it. But they also eat some different things than we do like insects and seeds. They also use tools like sticks to get the insects out of their nests. Habitat: Usually chimpanzees live in Africa. So that includes grasslands, woodlands, and rain forests. We sleep in beds, but they usually sleep in trees. They build their nests with branches from trees and leaves. Chimpanzees live in groups. Their group can have 20 to 150 chimpanzees. They also protect each other from other groups. Body: Chimpanzees are big animals. Adult chimps can be 4 feet. They have long arms and legs. They are also almost covered in black fur. Life cycle: Mother chimps only have one baby at a time. After a couple of...
Today I'm going to tell you about my homeschool year. It started off doing remote learning like everyone else. When they announced people were allowed to go back to school I had three choices homeschool, continue remote learning, or go back in person. My mom was already homeschool Jensen, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm about to tell you genuine[ real and true feelings] about homeschool. My first reason is we have a flexible schedule, for example, one day we could wake up and say " Hey let's go to the zoo!" Another example is say I've been working for a little while, I could say " Can I take a five-minute break?" And she would say " Sure ". My second reason I love homeschool is my mom can sit right beside me while I work. My last reason is we can get creative with our work. For instance one day it might be Stepping Stones, the next it might be Khan Acadamy. Lastly, I just want to say thank you, mom. You work so hard. Those are some of ...
Today I learned about the Wright brothers named Orville and Willver. I learned that they came up with 1,000 ideas that failed. I know I would give up after like 15 tries. To the right, you can see the first successful plane made by the Wright brothers. This plane took off at Kittyhawk North Carolina. They chose Kittyhawk because it had the right amount of wind and soft sand for landing. So I hope you learned some interesting things today and enjoyed it. Till next time bye.
