Eric Lindell

Eric Lidell was a famous track star that had a world record. Now I will tell you about his experience at the Olympics. Eric was headed to the Olympics excepting to run the 100-meter sprint. But when he saw the qualifying race was on a Sunday he chose to not race. He felt like Sunday should be a day to rest. So instead he deiced to race the 400-meter race. And he qualified for it. When the day of the race arrived he sprinted. Most people thought sprinting would make them too tired and slow down. Not looking back he kept going, also not knowing that a lot of people had got too tired and walked on the sideline. He ended up winning first place and made a world record for fastest speed in that type of race. At only 47. 6 seconds. He also took home bronze in the 200-meter sprint. He is speed.

The Angel of the Alamo

Who is Angela "the Angel of the Alamo?"Well, let's find out. Angela is a very important person because she helped James Bowie when he was ill. She was also famous for staying and helping at the Alamo when she could have left. Angela always stayed by Jim Bowie's side unless she had to run into town. Sometimes he would tell her to help him get to the window and so she basically helped him walk. But besides helping him she also helped take care of other wounded soldiers. Later on in her life, she had biological children and adopted 22 children. She died at age 94. Wow, she had a very interesting story. I hope you enjoyed that story as much as I did.

The Place

A pathway beside the swaying trees,  It fills me with such glee. Free as can be,  And far as I can see.  Then I decided to roll down the hill saying, "  Weeeee!!!" Oh, how fun it was.   Sun shining on my face. I think I have a case full of glee. Come join me .  N ot a penny nor a coin,  Just come join me and enjoy the fun 😉.

Colorado

Have you ever been to Colorado? In August, we headed to Colorado. Well, actually we headed to Trinidad because it would have been a 12-hour drive to Colorado. But Trinidad was only eight and a half. We stayed there in a hotel that night. The next day we got up ate got ready and left for Estes Park!!! It was a four-and-a-half-hour drive, but we stopped in Colorado Springs for Garden of the Gods. It's a rock formation. Then we went to Focus on the Family. It was soooooooooo much fun. Then we continued to Estes Park. Suddenly the car started to get bumpy, so we pulled over. The tire was ruined. We had to call a tow truck to come to pick it up. Finally, we got picked up headed to our cabin. It was a crazy adventure .
